Superfreak 2010
The Superfreak is Hot Sails Maui´s top selling sail. It is the only sail like it on the market. This sails is not for everyone, it has a life of it´s own and a devot following that continues to grow. It is our rule breaker. Other designers simply state, „it can´t work“ or make up bizarre stroies when their customers ask about the sail. They have no good answers why so many sailors love it.
It works because it is a FUN sail. Yes, windsurfing can be fun, relaxing and colorful.
Not to mention that the sails are leghtweight, insanely durable, colorful, original and do not beat up the rider in high wind. Or that they can be used for wave sailing, freestyle, free ride, beginners, extreme high wind, cruising on long boards, or nearly any other kind of windsurfing. Customers love it because the basic sail never changes. You can fill in your quiver with new or used sails and you can be confident that you are getting the same basic sail. When you resell it, you will get a top price.
For 2010 we have a few nice surprises that include a serious clean up of the top of the sail. Also a new option is the 0.3 mm thickness PVC window that feels like a similar weight savings that the UL offered last year. We now can offer fully printed patterns that cover the whole sail.
The Superfreak Ultralight (UL) does have a softer handling and it feels 0.5 sm smaller compared to other sails. |
